Amazing Skills
During the recent Geneseo Airshow, a favorite of mine for the close proximity, and the variety of planes, a potentially catastrophic event was averted by the skills of pilot. A strong cross-wind threated to flip a World War II bomber as it landed on the grass runway. The quick response of the pilot counteracted the wind and kep the plan upright and on the runway. Such an honor to have the opportunity to see the planes, and meet the men who fly them. I have added a new page to my website, "FLIGHT" for those interested in images of historical aviation.
